Job Summary

The Data Protection & Privacy Program Manager will work within Global Privacy Operations, focusing on managing and maturing the enterprise-wide Data Protection & Privacy program. They will collaborate closely across the Compliance department and internal team members and cross-functional partners to manage and oversee operational components within Medline’s Data Protection & Privacy program, in compliance with state, federal and global requirements.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIA) and Data Protection Impact assessments.
• Assess vendors, technologies, and identify potential privacy risks in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Manage privacy incidents, conduct investigations, and respond to reported incidents.
• Coordinate with Security, IT, Legal, and other functions to ensure compliance with privacy policies and notices.
• Develop and deliver privacy training and communicate enterprise-wide privacy policies.
• Manage the Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) process, including review, fulfillment, documentation, and response.
• Promote continuous improvement of privacy program activities.
• Collaborate with the Global Privacy Team on various data privacy matters.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree

Work Experience: 3-4 years in privacy, security, or compliance; experience with privacy management tools.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Strong communication, project management, and program management skills; advanced Excel skills.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

Privacy certifications (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP); experience with privacy management tools like OneTrust and Radar Privacy; familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, and records of processing activities (RoPA); knowledge of information security concepts.

Additional Information
