KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a Program Manager to lead data center electrical and instrumentation projects in Houston or Odessa, TX. You will guide safety, schedule, cost, and quality across a fast-track portfolio from preconstruction through energization and turnover.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of data center construction leadership, strong CPM and cost-control skills, and experience interpreting contracts and drawings.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of direct data center construction experience.
• Knowledge of mission-critical electrical infrastructure and commissioning processes.
• Strong project controls background: CPM scheduling, cost-to-complete, and change management.
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, one-lines, and test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams through installation, energization, testing, commissioning, and turnover of mission-critical systems.
• Oversee medium/low-voltage distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and related critical infrastructure.
• Manage long-lead procurement and schedule-critical equipment strategy.
• Drive weekly project health reviews and lead recovery planning when milestones are at risk.
• Coach and develop project managers, superintendents, and project controls staff.

A leading construction and infrastructure organization is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead data center electrical and instrumentation projects. You’ll direct mission-critical E&I work from preconstruction through energization, commissioning, and turnover - owning safety, schedule, cost, and quality across a portfolio of fast-track projects.

What You’ll Do

• Own safety, schedule, cost, margin, and client satisfaction across your project portfolio
• Lead teams through installation, energization, testing, commissioning, and turnover of mission-critical systems
• Oversee medium/low-voltage distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and related critical infrastructure
• Manage long-lead procurement and schedule-critical equipment strategy
• Drive weekly project health reviews and lead recovery planning when milestones are at risk

What You Bring

• 5-7 years of direct data center construction experience with progressive leadership responsibility
• Working knowledge of mission-critical electrical infrastructure and commissioning processes
• Strong project controls background: CPM scheduling, cost-to-complete, and change management
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, one-lines, and test scripts
• Strong communication, client management, and negotiation skills
• Based in Houston or Odessa, TX, with regular travel to project sites

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, cloud, or AI/HPC data center experience
• PMP, electrical license, OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or commissioning credentials
