Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of major data center construction projects. You will oversee safety, schedule, budget, quality and client relations from pre-construction through commissioning and turnover.

You will coordinate with owners, design teams, commissioning agents and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required standards. Willingness to travel full-time to sites nationwide is essential.

I’m working with a leading General Contractor delivering large-scale data center projects across the United States.

They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of project delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and final handover.

This is a 100% travel / on-site role, suited to someone who has already delivered complex data center or mission-critical construction projects and is comfortable leading fast-paced, technical builds.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing project safety, schedule, budget, quality, subcontractors and client relationships across major data center construction projects.

You will work closely with owners, design teams, commissioning agents, subcontractors and internal leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standard.

Requirements

• Experience working for a General Contractor is required.
• Proven ability to manage projects from pre-construction through commissioning and turnover.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, critical power, cooling and technical infrastructure.
• Experience with budgets, schedules, subcontractor management, change orders and client reporting.
• Comfortable using tools such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel full-time to project sites across the United States.
