Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks a Program Manager for Oil & Gas Electrical & Instrumentation in Houston or Odessa, TX. Lead E&I projects across upstream/downstream facilities, from estimating to commissioning, owning safety, schedule, cost, and client relationships.

Coordinate brownfield tie-ins, shutdowns, and turnarounds while coaching PMs and superintendents. Requires 10+ years in oil & gas construction and a relevant bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of direct oil & gas construction experience.
  • Experience across upstream, midstream, gas processing, refining, petrochemical, or LNG facilities.
  • Strong background in industrial power distribution, instrumentation, and classified‑area work.
  • Experience planning brownfield work, tie‑ins, shutdowns, and turnarounds.
  • Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, P&IDs, estimates, and cost reports.
  • Based in Houston or Odessa, with regular travel to project sites.

An established industrial construction organization is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead oil & gas electrical and instrumentation projects. You'll direct E&I work across upstream, midstream, downstream, petrochemical, and gas processing facilities — from estimating through commissioning and closeout — owning safety, schedule, cost, and client relationships on greenfield and brownfield work.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

  • Experience planning brownfield work, tie‑ins, shutdowns, and turnarounds
  • Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, P&IDs, estimates, and cost reports
  • Based in Houston or Odessa, TX, with regular travel to project and client sites
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • EPC or self-perform construction background across dispersed project portfolios
  • PMP, electrical license, OSHA 30, or NFPA 70E credentials
