Job summary

Saulsbury Industries is looking for a Lead Representative for Electrical construction projects located in Odessa and Houston, Texas. This full-time role involves oversight of all construction phases and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of supervising Heavy Industrial Electrical projects, data center experience, and hold a Journeyman or Master Electrical License. Additional physical requirements apply.

General Information/Job Summary

Type: Full time

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead representative at data center construction sites, directing and coordinating the Electrical group.
• Provide management oversight for all phases of the construction project, including coordinating workers, material, equipment, and ensuring specifications are followed.
• Overall accountability for job‑site safety and quality assurance/quality control procedures.
• Plan and avoid scheduling conflicts between crafts, assess interactions of tasks, and determine work priorities.
• Resolve scheduling problems and balance project requirements as they impact project scheduling.
• Monitor daily work progress, evaluate and counsel subordinates, and ensure achievement relative to work output, quality, accidents, and training.
• Write reports and administer policies, maintain current procedures and ensure policies are followed.
• Conduct performance appraisals, recommend wage adjustments, and exercise disciplinary authority, including termination where warranted.
• Observe safety policies and procedures while working in operating facilities.

Requirements

• 7‑10 years supervising Heavy Industrial Electrical projects involving layout, installation, construction, and maintenance.
• Current Journeyman or Master Electrical License preferred.
• Data center experience required.
• Open to travel and possible rotating schedule.
• Renewable experience a plus.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
