Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Program Manager for Data and GIS Governance within Information Technology. Based in Richmond, VA, this hybrid, contract role drives enterprise data initiatives, governance frameworks, and metadata management across the organization.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate with executives to translate complex data concepts into actionable strategies. The ideal candidate has extensive data governance experience, ArcGIS and FME tooling familiarity,

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Program Manager - Data and GIS Governance

Position Type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Richmond VA (Hybrid)
As a Program Manager - Data and GIS Governance you will:

• Extensive experience leading enterprise data programs within a large organization.
• Deep understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Proven capability in managing the full data lifecycle within complex organizational structures.
• Expertise in metadata management, data quality enhancement, and building sustainable data documentation processes.
• Strong problem?solving skills with a track record of designing scalable processes and governance mechanisms.
• Ability to translate abstract or technically complex concepts into approachable, actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive?level and cross?functional engagement.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of Data quality remediation and enhancement experience
• Knowledge of Data lifecycle management experience
• Knowledge of Data governance experience
• Knowledge of ArcGIS platform experience
• Knowledge of Safe Software FME experience

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Salary Range*: $80- to $85 Per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
