Job description

Akkodis is looking for a Program Manager in D365 F&O in the Philadelphia, PA area.

The ERP Program Manager will be responsible for driving the successful implementation, optimization, and adoption of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations system. This role serves as the central point of accountability for ensuring the ERP solution fully supports and enhances our business operations across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and IT.

The ERP Program Leader will lead a cross-functional team and manage our implementation partnership with Queue, ensuring the Dynamics 365 platform is configured, integrated, and deployed to achieve maximum business value.

The ideal candidate will be a Dynamics 365 expert with a deep understanding of system architecture, data integrity, and financial process alignment — ensuring our ERP ecosystem enables accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across all business functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the ERP Implementation Team Own and drive the full lifecycle of the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation — from design and configuration through testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Lead a cross-functional team to align business requirements with system capabilities, ensuring optimized end-to-end process design across modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Projects, Production, and HR).
  • Translate complex business needs into actionable technical solutions within Dynamics 365.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to ensure all functional requirements are accurately mapped into Dynamics 365 modules.
  • Ensure seamless integration between Dynamics 365 and supporting applications (e.g., payroll, timekeeping, and procurement systems).
  • Champion standardization, automation, and best practices across departments using native Dynamics 365 functionality.
  • Partner with Finance to design and validate accounting structures, GL mapping, subledger integration, and financial consolidation processes.
  • Ensure Dynamics 365 configuration supports GAAP compliance, cost accounting, project accounting, and budget control.
  • Maintain rigorous standards for data integrity, internal controls, and audit readiness throughout implementation and post go‑live.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and issue logs to maintain delivery against scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Facilitate executive decision‑making through structured governance processes, presenting key trade‑offs, dependencies, and risk assessments to the ERP Steering Committee.
  • Ensure program transparency through regular reporting and communication updates at all organizational levels.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the ERP implementation partner (Queue) to monitor deliverables, validate technical work, and drive accountability for milestones.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on Dynamics 365, providing hands‑on guidance to functional leads and system users.
  • Build trust and alignment across teams through proactive communication and leadership presence.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, risk logs, and communication updates to ensure visibility and accountability at all levels.
  • Lead change management, training, and adoption efforts to ensure smooth user transition to Dynamics 365.
  • Conduct post‑implementation reviews to identify opportunities for enhancement, improved user experience, and ongoing system optimization.
  • Establish a continuous improvement roadmap to ensure Dynamics 365 evolves with business needs.
  • After go‑live, lead post‑implementation reviews and recommend ongoing system enhancements and process optimization opportunities.
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree or PMP certification preferred.
  • CPA certification or MBA highly preferred.
  • QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in ERP program management, IT project leadership, or large‑scale business systems implementation.
  • Minimum 5+ years dedicated to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or prior Dynamics AX versions.
  • Minimum 3 full‑cycle Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementations successfully delivered (preference for manufacturing or industrial settings).
  • Proven experience leading large‑scale ERP or technology implementation projects, ideally in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment.
  • Strong project leadership skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse functions and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills — comfortable engaging both executive and frontline audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with third‑party vendors and consultants.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 ERP platforms and related business processes (Finance, Production, Supply Chain, HR, etc.).
  • Strong financial background with working knowledge of:
  • GAAP and financial reporting principles
  • Cost accounting and job costing structures
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Revenue recognition and project accounting workflows
  • Must be able to obtain security clearance. (DOD)
