Program Manager (Contract)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary

Microsoft Fabric is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient individual to join our team. This role focuses on Apache Airflow, a key component of our data orchestration and workflow automation solutions. As a member of our team, you will work closely with customers, create sample code and best practices, and contribute to the Apache Airflow open-source community.

Job Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement: Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical guidance on using Apache Airflow within Microsoft Fabric.
2. Sample Code and Best Practices: Develop and maintain sample code, best practices, and documentation to help customers effectively use Apache Airflow.
3. Community Contribution: Actively contribute to the Apache Airflow open-source community by submitting code, participating in discussions, and sharing insights.
4. Product Improvement: Gather feedback from customers and the community to identify areas for improvement and work with the engineering team to implement enhancements.
5. Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful deployment and operation of Apache Airflow workflows.

Requirements

1. 1-2 years of overall experience in the field.
2. Experience with Apache Airflow; must have hands-on experience, including creating and managing Dags (Directed Acyclic Graphs).
3. Experience with Python; must be comfortable coding.
4. Experience with Open Source Software (OSS) exposure.

Additional Details

1. Location: Remote
2. Duration: 1 Month
3. Pay Range: $40 - 45.50 per hour
4. Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
