Job summary

Greater Sacramento Urban League seeks a Program Manager to lead youth and family programs, supervise staff, and ensure grant commitments translate into high-quality services and measurable community impact.

You will monitor performance, develop workflows, manage budgets, and collaborate with partners to strengthen outcomes and equity. This grant-funded role offers growth within a mission-driven organization committed to empowerment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field and 3+ years of program management or similar experience.
• Experience supervising staff and managing workloads with accountability for results.
• Experience managing grant-funded deliverables, performance measures, and compliance documentation.
• Strong writing skills for program, grant, or funder reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, dashboards, and client-tracking systems.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their appropriate professional use.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily program implementation, work plans, timelines, and service delivery.
• Turn grant requirements and program goals into clear workflows with measurable outcomes.
• Supervise, coach, and develop staff; set performance expectations and manage schedules.
• Coordinate grants, budgets, resources, and day-to-day operations for program delivery.
• Prepare narrative reports, dashboards, and documentation for funders and auditing.
• Monitor enrollment, services, outcomes, KPIs, and data quality; drive continuous improvement.
• Build partnerships and engage community organizations and stakeholders.
