Job summary

Greater Sacramento Urban League (GSUL) is seeking a Program Manager to lead day-to-day management and implementation of youth and family programs in Sacramento. You will supervise staff, monitor outcomes, and ensure grant commitments translate into high-quality services and measurable community impact.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of program management experience, with strong writing skills and experience in data reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Business Administration, Public Health, Education, Nonprofit Management, Human Services, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in program management, nonprofit or human services, youth programs, or community-based programming.
• Demonstrated experience supervising staff or leading teams, including coaching, workload management, and accountability for results.
• Experience managing grant-funded deliverables, performance measures, compliance documentation, and outcome tracking.
• Strong professional writing skills with experience preparing program, grant, or funder reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and implementation of assigned youth and family programs.
• Supervise program staff, monitor performance and outcomes, ensure grant commitments translate into high-quality services and measurable community impact.
• Turn grant requirements and program goals into clear workflows, staff assignments, and measurable outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen services, workflows, and overall program effectiveness.
• Monitor participant enrollment, services, referrals, outcomes, and KPIs; turn data into actionable strategies.
