Job summary

Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, is seeking a part-time Program Manager for the Cable Makerspace to plan, develop, and assess educational programming and engagement activities.

You will work with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners to maximize participation, deliver workshops, and foster hands-on learning across disciplines, with a focus on inclusive, collaborative experiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience developing and delivering educational programs, workshops, or events.

Position Purpose

The Program Manager, Makerspace is responsible for the planning, development, coordination, and assessment of educational programming and engagement activities within the Cable Makerspace. This position fosters innovation, experiential learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration through workshops, events, mentorship opportunities, and curricular partnerships. The Program Manager works with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners to maximize participation and educational impact.

  • Familiarity with prototyping, fabrication, design thinking, or maker technologies.
