About Us
Alden Scientific is transforming health and longevity by prioritizing individuals, not averages. Our platform harnesses multi-omic data and AI to provide predictive, personalized health management — making proactive health management the new normal.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Program Manager to run Alden Insights, our invitation-only, IRB-approved lifetime research program applying AI to advanced multi-omic research assays to help understand health, disease, and aging.
This role is roughly 60% operations, 30% clinical and scientific fluency, and 10% member experience. You should be equally at home running a multi-site collection schedule and joining our CEO or commercial leadership in a meeting with a prospective member.
What You'll Do
Program Operations (60%)
- Act as the single point of accountability for the program, translating program goals into plans, timelines, budgets, and clear owners.
- Coordinate across Science, Clinical, Bioinformatics, Product, Engineering, and Member Services so each member's study outline, collections, assays, and results move without gaps.
- Build and manage relationships with external partners: phlebotomy and concierge medical providers, clinical labs, couriers and cold-chain logistics, and collection sites.
- Report program health to leadership with clear metrics (enrollment, on-time collections, sample integrity, turnaround time, member satisfaction) and elevate risks early.
- Help hire, onboard, and lead a small program operations team as we grow toward 2,000 members.
Clinical & Scientific (30%)
- Run BESPOKE as the IRB-approved research study it is: protocol adherence, informed consent, deviation reporting, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Uphold HIPAA, data-sharing agreements, and member privacy at every step, including real-time data sharing with members' physicians.
- Understand our assays (proteomics, genomics, metabolomics, epigenetics, microbiome, clinical labs) well enough to plan collections, troubleshoot sample issues, and speak credibly with scientists and physicians.
- Coordinate results review with our scientists and clinicians, and ensure baseline assessments and quarterly reports reach members and physicians on schedule.
- Bring a research-program mindset to new assays and pilots: scope, timelines, operational impact, and readiness.
Member Experience (10%)
- Set and hold the standard for a discreet, effortless, five-star experience at every touchpoint, from the first email to the tenth draw.
- Serve as a trusted operational contact for members, their family offices, executive assistants, and personal physicians.
- Partner with our CEO and commercial leadership in prospective-member and physician meetings: explain how the program works, what members can expect, and how we deliver it.
- Anticipate needs before members raise them: travel schedules, privacy requirements, preferred clinicians, family and staff involvement.
- Collect member feedback and turn it into concrete improvements to the program.
What We're Looking For
- 6–10 years of experience in program management or clinical operations leadership in a health system, multi-site practice, or health startup.
- Proven track record running multi-site clinical operations with real complexity: scheduling, logistics, vendors, SOPs, and quality.
- Experience managing an operating budget and a team (roughly 10+ people) across multiple locations.
- Experience in clinical research or regulated clinical operations, with a working command of informed consent, HIPAA, and quality standards.
- Working fluency in biology and clinical concepts; comfortable discussing biomarkers, lab workflows, and sample handling with scientists and physicians.
- Strong command of CRM and workflow tools (HubSpot or similar) and a habit of building processes that scale.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the polish and judgment to represent Alden in front of high-net-worth members, physicians, and executives.
- Discretion and sound judgment with confidential information and high-profile individuals.
- Calm, hands-on, and resourceful under pressure; willing to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice.
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, public health, health administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed clinician background (e.g., RN, PA, OT, PT).
- Master's degree in health administration, public health, or business (MHA, MPH, MBA), or completion of a healthcare administrative fellowship.
- Experience with IRB-approved studies and GCP (CCRP/CCRC a plus).
- Experience scaling specimen collection, testing, or field health services at a high-growth company.
- Track record of measurably improving patient or member experience (e.g., NPS).
- Experience in precision medicine, genomics, multi-omics, longevity, or preventive health.
- Background in concierge medicine, executive health, luxury hospitality, or private client services.
- Experience managing biospecimen logistics: phlebotomy networks, cold chain, dry-ice shipping, biobanking.
- PMP or similar certification.
