Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Operations Leader to drive enterprise program management for actionable radiology findings and AI-enabled workflows.

You will design and oversee clinical workflows, ensure patient safety, and coordinate with radiology, care coordination, quality, informatics, and IT teams. The role requires strong leadership, experience with Epic EHR, and a clinical license; advanced degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a clinical discipline (nursing, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, PA studies, health informatics or related).
• Master’s degree preferred in healthcare administration, nursing, public health, informatics, or MBA.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical operations leadership for an enterprise program to identify, communicate, track, and close the loop on clinically significant actionable findings.
• Accountable for program performance, clinical workflow design, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and expansion across service lines.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clinical operations, radiology, specialty practices, quality, patient safety, informatics, and information technology.

Responsibilities

This position provides clinical operations leadership for Piedmont Healthcare's enterprise program to identify, communicate, track, and close the loop on clinically significant actionable findings. The role is accountable for reducing loss-to-follow-up risk, improving patient safety, standardizing follow-up workflows, and supporting timely diagnosis and care coordination for findings identified through radiology, AI-enabled workflows, Epic work queues, and future diagnostic use cases.The manager is accountable for program performance, clinical workflow design, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and expansion of the program across multiple service lines. The manager serves as the primary liaison between clinical operations, radiology, specialty practices, quality, patient safety, informatics, and information technology.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Health Informatics, or related clinical discipline Required
• Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Informatics, or Business Administration Preferred

Work Experience

• 5 years of progressive healthcare experience to include three (3) years of leadership, program management, or supervisory experience Required
• Experience in radiology, pulmonary medicine, oncology, care coordination, population health, quality, or clinical informatics. Required
• Experience with Epic or comparable electronic health record. Required
• Experience with AI-enabled clinical workflows. Preferred
• Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives. Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Active clinical licensure or certification appropriate to discipline. Required
• CPHQ, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or informatics certification Preferred
