Job summary

HarmonyTech is seeking a talented Program Manager to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in the National Capital Region. The role entails overall program management, overseeing milestones, deliverables, and reporting, while coordinating with COR and Government teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of PM experience on complex contracts, strong leadership, and expertise in enterprise software/hardware planning, upgrades, and migrations. U.S.

Job description

HarmonyTech is currently looking for a talented and self-motivated Program Manager with the ability to work in a challenging, consultative, and collaborative environment. The Program Manager will support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and will be responsible for overall project communications with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Government staff. The role will oversee project implementation, resource activities, milestones, deliverables, issue tracking, schedules, upgrades, migrations, and project reporting.

Position is available in the National Capital Region (NCR); requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Required

• 10+ years of program management experience on contracts of similar scope and complexity
• Experience planning and managing multiple tasks, projects, or contracts
• Demonstrated technical management and supervisory experience
• Experience coordinating large-scale planning efforts for enterprise software and hardware solutions
• Experience managing project plans, deliverables, milestones, schedules, dependencies, risks, and issues
• Experience gathering requirements and providing technical and analytical guidance to project teams
• Experience managing status meetings, action items, project reports, and deliverables
• Ability to communicate effectively with Government staff, technical teams, and project stakeholders
• Experience providing recommendations and directing the analysis and resolution of technical issues

Desired

• Experience implementing large-scale OpenText products
• Experience supporting Federal Government or Department of Defense (DoD) programs
• Experience with enterprise software and hardware implementations
• Experience with software upgrades and migrations
• Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Business Process Management (BPM) solutions

Certification

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be considered where applicable
