Job summary

HarmonyTech is seeking a Senior Database Architect to advance Enterprise Information Management (EIM) databases in the NCR. The role demands U.S.

Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and will focus on database design, implementation, administration, performance, reporting, availability, security, and sustainment. Qualifications

• Proven 10+ years managing MS SQL Server DBs (architecture, admin, security).
• Experience leading large-scale data migrations and ETL pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to design schemas and optimize performance.

Job description

HarmonyTech is currently looking for a talented and self-motivated Senior Database Architect with the ability to work in a challenging, consultative, and collaborative environment. The selected candidate will support Enterprise Information Management (EIM) application workflow database management, including database design, implementation, administration, performance, reporting, availability, security, and sustainment.

The position will be responsible for SQL programming, database structures, schema design, table configuration, data migration, troubleshooting, and database-related communications.

Position is available in the National Capital Region (NCR); requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Required

• 10+ years of database administration and database architecture experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• 12+ years of database administration and database architecture experience with Microsoft SQL Server for candidates without a Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience with database architecture, design, administration, and implementation
• Experience performing large-scale data migrations
• Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes
• Experience implementing database schemas within SQL Server
• Experience with SQL programming, database structures, schema design, and table configuration
• Experience troubleshooting database performance, availability, and security issues
• Experience supporting enterprise application databases

Desired

• Experience implementing database schemas supporting OpenText applications
• Experience with OpenText databases
• Experience supporting Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise application environments
• Experience supporting Federal Government or DoD programs

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, where applicable
