Job summary

QED Systems, Inc. in Virginia Beach seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead the execution of a Navy Surface Ship Maintenance Training contract. The PM will serve as the primary point of contact with Surface Ship Type Commanders and the contracts representative, maintaining performance metrics and reporting status.

Annual in-person program reviews will be conducted with Navy leadership. The role requires 10+ years in Navy maintenance training with at least 5 years in program management, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of U.S. Navy maintenance training experience.
• 5+ years of experience at the program management level.
• Bachelor of Science degree or PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract execution and maintain performance metrics for the Navy training contract.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with Surface Ship Type Commanders and the contracts representative; report status and coordinate program reviews.

This position is a “Contingent Hire” position contingent upon a potential award of a new U.S. Navy contract to QED Systems.

Salary Range: $105,000/year – $125,000/year

Job Description

Individual will serve as Program Manager (PM) in support of a Navy Surface Ship Maintenance Training contract and will be responsible for overall contract execution. The PM will serve as the QED Systems primary point of contact with Surface Ship Type Commanders and the contracts representative. The PM will also be responsible for maintaining and reporting contract performance metrics and status. The PM will conduct semi-annual in-person meetings with Navy Type Commanders in support of Program Reviews.

Job Requirements/skill sets

Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in U.S. Navy Maintenance training with 5 years of experience at the Program Management level.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree or PMP certification preferred.

Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access

U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and be able to access U.S. Navy ships, military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
