Job summary

Skyborne Airline Academy is seeking a skilled Program Manager to oversee the operation of assigned Pilot Training Programs. This non-flying role focuses on coordinating training delivery, scheduling, and compliance across instructors and classrooms at our Vero Beach facility.

You will ensure materials meet regulatory requirements, maintain schedules, and support instructors with resources while upholding our safety and quality standards. The position is on-site in Florida.

Qualifications

  • FAA Private Pilot certificate is required.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day Customer training activities for the program aircraft.
  • Ensure training materials meet regulatory requirements and audits.
  • Adhere to SOPs and aviation regulations.
  • Support instructors with resources and special customer training needs.
  • Update lesson plans, syllabi and teaching aids as needed.
  • Conduct instructor meetings and communicate policy changes.

Job Details

We are looking for skilled and talented Program Manager (PM) who is responsible for the operation of assigned Pilot Training Program(s) within the Academy. This is a non-flying position. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day Customer training activities specific to the program aircraft to include aircraft-specific training delivery, Customer scheduling, Instructor scheduling, condition of training equipment, and training documentation.
  • Ensure that training materials are prepared, maintained and used in accordance with all regulatory requirements by periodically comparing said requirements with day-to-day activities and any audit inspection results.
  • Adhere to SOP's and regulations.
  • Participate and promote the safety culture, reporting all aviation safety related issues via the feedback system, and adhere to the processes related to accomplishing goals.
  • Provide information and resources to individual Instructors in support of the conduct of Customer training.
  • Ensure Instructors are informed of unique Customer training requirements and ensure compliance with those requirements during Customers' training.
  • Update and modify Lesson Plan notes, syllabi and teaching aids, as necessary.
  • Conduct periodic Instructor meetings to communicate policies, procedures, and unique Customer training issues.
Qualifications

Professional requirements are as follows:

  • Hold at least an FAA Private Pilot certificate.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Well organized and analytical
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications; able to speak, understand, read and write.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner.
  • Ability to interact with varied customer base (current and/or prospective) while providing high level of customer service.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to use classroom equipment as necessary.
  • Contingent to employment, all candidates must pass a drug screening and background check, along with TSA badging-if required for your role.
