About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Program Manager to join us.
The Program Manager oversees the execution of IT operations and maintenance services, acting as the primary interface for project stakeholders. This senior role ensures alignment with industry best practices for project management. Key responsibilities include:
Program Oversight: Plan and manage all project tasks, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and cost objectives.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the main liaison between project teams, leadership, and contractors for effective communication.
- Project Plan Development: Create and maintain a project management plan detailing scope, schedule, resources, and quality controls.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics to track technical, cost, and schedule performance, delivering regular reports and dashboards.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess risks, implementing mitigation strategies per organizational guidelines.
- Transition Support: Develop and execute transition plans to ensure seamless service continuity.
- Agile Compliance: Support Agile methodologies and systems engineering lifecycle reviews for project compliance.
- Team Supervision: Lead contractor teams, ensuring clear accountability and resource allocation.
- Deliverable Oversight: Manage creation and delivery of project artifacts, ensuring organizational compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate regular status meetings, coordinating with leadership and experts.
Qualifications
The Program Manager must possess the following skills and certifications to effectively fulfill the role:
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and SaaS tools.
- Data Analytics: Expertise in data analysis and visualization with tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Strong strategic communication for stakeholder alignment.
- Writing Skills: Advanced ability to create professional briefings and documentation.
- Certification: PM must be PMP, CISSP or CISM certified
- Agile Knowledge: Experience with Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps).
- Lifecycle Knowledge: Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes.
- Risk Management: Understanding of configuration and risk management best practices.
Desired:
- Federal or enterprise IT operations experience.
- Certifications: CAPM, PgMP, PMI Scheduling, or Risk Management Professional.
- Hybrid multi-cloud management experience (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle).
- Security clearance eligibility.
- Leadership of cross-functional teams in dynamic settings.
- IT policy development expertise.
- Change and configuration management experience.
- Business process improvement knowledge.
Clearance Requirements: Successful completion of a government security screening and/or a Secret Clearance
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of a Fingerprint background investigation.
