Job summary

SierTeK Ltd is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead federal government contracts for the Department of the Navy. The role focuses on program management, contract compliance, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Ensure requirements align with client expectations and compliance standards.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and government regulatory compliance.
  • Provide status reports and risk assessments to senior leadership.
  • Travel as needed to Dahlgreen, VA; King George, VA; and Washington, D.C.

Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and manage federal government contracts, ensuring successful execution of technical and administrative tasks for the Department of the Navy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, federal contract compliance, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects. Experience working with the U.S. Navy, NAVSEA, NSWC, or related defense programs is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead program execution, ensuring compliance with contract terms, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Manage financial, administrative, and operational aspects of government contract performance.
  • Serve as a liaison between customer representatives and corporate leadership.
  • Oversee contract schedule, budget, and risk management processes.
  • Organize and allocate resources to support multiple ongoing projects.
  • Ensure contract requirements and objectives align with client expectations.
  • Maintain oversight of subcontractor performance and government compliance requirements.
  • Provide status reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • May occasionally be required to travel to Dahlgreen, VA; King Georga, VA; and Washington, D.C.
Minimum Position Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of program management experience, with at least 5 years managing federal government contracts.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred (not required). PMP certification is a plus.
  • Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
  • Skills & Expertise:
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Experience managing technical and administrative aspects of federal programs.
    • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), contract compliance, and reporting.
