Job summary

Woodbridge is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to plan, execute and finalize programs with OE and/or T1 customers. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and manage resources and budgets to deliver on time and within scope.

The role requires four or more years in program management, product engineering, or technical sales, with strong manufacturing awareness and the ability to read automotive drawings. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in program management, product/process engineering, product development or technical sales.
• Experience and working knowledge of manufacturing processes, products and capabilities.
• Ability to interpret automotive drawings, designs and specifications.
• Strong understanding of customer quality, commercial and technical requirements.
• Understanding of GD&T is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead program management with OE and/or T1 customers.
• Serve as primary interface to customer Quality and Engineering.
• Manage timing, deliverables and tooling budget for OE-level customers and others as needed.
• Oversee engineering change financials, margin improvement, VA/VE activities from inception to end of life.
• Coordinate with Product Managers and Business Development Managers for customer-product alignment.
• Lead the APQP Launch Tracker process.
• Support customer meetings and site visits at Woodbridge and supplier facilities.

Role Purpose

Plan, execute and finalize programs according to deadlines and budget while ensuring the desired intent and customer experience is achieved. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members who may work in different functional departments or for third-party contractors in order to deliver programs according to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading program management with OE and/or T1 customers

• Lead for program timing, deliverables and tooling budget for OE-level customers and others as deemed necessary

Qualifications

• College or university graduate, or equivalent, in engineering or business with a minimum of four years of experience in program management, product/process engineering, product development or technical sales


• Experience and working knowledge of manufacturing processes, products and capabilities


• Ability to interpret automotive drawings, designs and specifications


• Strong understanding of customer quality, commercial and technical requirements


• Understanding of GD&T is an asset


• Self-starter with excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills


• Proven track record of working with the APQP process


• Working knowledge and experience in product launches and life-cycle management


• Working knowledge of various material products, manufacturing requirements and tooling standards


• Ability to travel
