Job summary

Advantest America Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing programs from planning through delivery, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and contractual requirements.

You will drive schedule, quality, and cost performance with structured project management and proactive risk mitigation. The role emphasizes high customer satisfaction, OTD improvement, and resolving RMA and technical issues through data-driven decisions.

  • Timely resolution of issues and escalation to avoid delays.
  • Ensure timely implementation of ECOs.
  • Close customer-related A/R issues.
  • Ensure program decisions follow the contract terms.
  • Understand all aspects required to launch a new program or order.
  • Responsible for customer management, order delivery, revenue, and RMA resolution.

Job Description

About the Role

The Program Manager leads cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing programs from planning through delivery, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, contractual requirements, and operational readiness. The role drives schedule, quality, and cost performance through structured project management, clear communication, proactive risk mitigation, and strong stakeholder leadership. A key focus includes maintaining high customer satisfaction, improving OTD, and resolving RMA and technical issues through data‑driven decision‑making.

Roles and Responsibilities include

  • Managing and developing project plans (10%)
  • Manage activities of a cross functional team(s) to ensure completion of the project on time (10%)
  • Review status with the customer and the management team (10%)
  • Drive effective meetings with both internal and external teams (10%)
  • Timely resolution of issues and escalation as required to avoid delays in project completion (10%)
  • Ensure timely implementation of ECOs (10%)
  • Ensure proper closure of customer related A/R issues (10%)
  • Ensures program‑related decisions are guided by the terms & conditions of the customer’s contract (10%)
  • Understands all aspects required to launch a new program or order (10%)
  • Responsible for customer management and satisfaction, order management and delivery, revenue achievement, business issue resolution (RMA’s) (10%)
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business/engineering with 2+ yr relevant work experience preferred.
