Frontier Technology Institute (FTI) is a global leader in emerging technologies education and workforce development training, seeking a Program Manager to lead and continuously improve its programs. This nonprofit operates with an entrepreneurial, startup-like mindset to reimagine STEM education and build pathways into high-growth tech careers.

Frontier Technology Institute (FTI) is a global leader in emerging technologies education and workforce development training. As a national nonprofit that functions like a start-up, FTI is committed to taking bold and innovative steps to reimagine STEM education to ensure all students have the technical skills for the jobs of the future. To date, FTI, formerly the Coding School, has pioneered K-16 education in AI, Quantum Computing, and Big Data and has trained over 60,000 students, educators, and members of the workforce from 130+ countries.
FTI is at the forefront of developing pre-apprenticeship programs and workforce pipelines that prepare students for careers in emerging technologies. Our flagship programs include national summer pre-apprenticeships that provide students with intensive technical training, mentorship, career exposure, and hands-on learning experiences designed to build pathways into the emerging technology workforce.
As FTI functions like an early-stage start-up, each team member wears multiple hats and works across programs, partnerships, operations, and organizational initiatives. No two days look the same, and team members often juggle several projects and priorities simultaneously. The Program Manager will play an integral role in managing and continuously improving FTI's programs, working with partners and stakeholders, analyzing program performance, developing and refining processes, and identifying opportunities to strengthen the participant experience and program outcomes.
We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, highly organized, analytical, and excited about bringing both structure and creativity to growing programs. The ideal candidate enjoys building and improving systems, solving problems, working with diverse stakeholders, and taking initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
