Flyte, which stands for Financial Learning You Take Everywhere, is a New Orleans-based nonprofit that empowers Black women business owners with skills and resources to overcome systemic financial inequities. Despite high rates of Black female entrepreneurship, many businesses fail within 18 months due to barriers like access to capital and childcare challenges. Flyte’s 12-month Entrepreneur Empowerment Program starts in June this year and serves 120 businesses annually, offering virtual training, mentorship, and impactful free business resources. Our main goals are to stabilize and strengthen cohort members' personal finances and position their businesses to access long-term capital by the end of each program year.
Role Description
This is a part-time virtual role for a Program Manager. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing the Entrepreneur Empowerment program, coordinating virtual and in-person training sessions, and overseeing mentorship and resource allocation to cohort members. The Program Manager will also handle communication with participants, manage data systems to track their progress, and report on program outcomes directly to the Executive Director.
