Junior Achievement of Alabama seeks a Program Manager to lead JA programs in Mobile and Baldwin County. You will recruit and train volunteers and support classroom teachers, building lasting school partnerships.
You will also collaborate with the Program Director and President to plan activities, events, and program delivery while maintaining strong educator relationships.

The Program Manager leads the implementation and expansion of JA programs in the Mobile and Baldwin County, AL areas. JA of Mobile currently reaches 2,500 students annually and we expect to reach about 5,000 students in the 23-24 school year. The duties include the recruitment, training and support of both volunteers and participating classroom teachers. The successful candidate will have many of the characteristics of a salesperson, but this is not a sales position. This is a relationship building position. The Program Manager also works with the Program Director and President to develop the annual planning calendar for all programs, events, and interacts with Board committees as needed.
20-24 hours per week, 4 days per week.
Workdays are dependent on school program requests.
Office hours for this position are 8:30 to 2:30.
Local travel to schools and businesses is required.
