Kustom US, Inc. is seeking a General Manager in Indianapolis, IN. The General Manager provides leadership for our team. The General Manager is responsible for overall office sales, growth, and profitability. We are aggressive in our goals, and we will challenge you to perform at the highest levels.

You will focus on effective communication, coaching, training, development, and engagement with your team. You will provide great leadership for employee relations. Your open-door policy provides a constructive place for employees to go to resolve workplace issues and concerns. You will foster a positive labor / management relationship. Your high level of integrity, business ethics, and sound judgment are essential to your success in this management position.

What you will do :

Execute the company's vision to provide exceptional experience for our employees and our customers.

  • Drive consistent high growth and profitability in the Branch.

  • Build the annual branch strategic plan, execute that plan, and report on progress against the plan to company leadership monthly.

  • Collaborate with all company support areas, Business Development, Finance, Operations Excellence and Human Resources teams.

Leading and developing your team : Sales and Operations.

  • Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, development, and engagement
  • Manage staffing for the assigned division, including hiring, firing and maintaining staffing levels of the region or local office.
  • Develop bench strength through succession planning to build a leadership pipeline within the Branch.
  • Perform consistent and productive performance reviews with staff.
  • Ensure team adherence to Kustom's processes and standards.
  • Act as point of escalation for job problem resolution.

  • Always maintain compliance with safety policies and procedures

Manage a sales and marketing team to Drive sales volume in the marketplace

  • Know the market and see potential opportunities early

Oversee all daily operations from initial customer contact to collections.

  • Establish and maintain harmonious labor relations among job site personnel and sub-contractors.
  • Review invoices and accounts payable / receivables; actively participate in various other branch-related accounting functions.
  • Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality.
  • Maintain adequate job-related equipment and materials.
  • Oversee job cost and procedures.
  • Review and approve direct reports expense reports.
  • Responsible for creating and executing the Annual Operating Plan to achieve growth and profitability goals.

Experience & Systems Requirements :

  • At least five (5) years in construction and restoration progressive leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, construction management, or related field preferred.
  • Effective leadership skills and teamwork facilitation.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Eligibility to operate a motor vehicle per company policy.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions :

  • Ability to perform all office activities typically expected in an office setting, including :

Remaining seated for extended periods.

  • Engaging in computer work.
  • Participating in filing tasks.
  • Lifting and carrying office supplies (up to 25 pounds).
  • Regularly required to talk and hear while performing job duties.
  • Fine hand manipulation skills (such as keyboarding).
  • Exposure to general office conditions during work.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
