Job summary

Unlimited Technology, Inc. is a premier cyber and physical security contractor seeking a Program Manager for Federal government security technology programs within our Government Program Management Office.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, Finance and customer support to ensure successful delivery of security solutions, on time and within budget, across multiple locations with occasional travel.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in program management within the physical security or technology industry.
  • Deployment and maintenance of enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of Government IT systems and security requirements.
  • Understanding of security technologies (surveillance, access control, intrusion).
  • Strong leadership of cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
  • Monitor program P&L and report status regularly.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define objectives and requirements; mobilize resources.
  • Track progress to ensure timelines and budgets are met; manage risks.
  • Oversee multiple projects across locations with occasional travel.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, and sales to align objectives with goals.
  • Maintain high-quality program delivery and customer satisfaction; manage change effectively.
  • Engage with customers to ensure ongoing alignment and satisfaction.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of Federal Government Agencies security technology programs within our organization for the Government Program Management Office.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, sales, Finance and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery of our security solutions to our clients.

You will be a key driver in achieving program objectives, ensuring quality, managing risks, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, deliverables, timelines, schedules and resource allocation.
  • Responsible for monitoring the P&L of programs and reporting the status of you program on routine bases.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define program objectives and requirements engage resources to deliver best in breed solutions.
  • Monitor and track progress of programs, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Must have a strong financial background and excel at managing budgets, conducting revenue forecasting, and overseeing invoicing and collections processes with precision and expertise.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively addressing issues to maintain program momentum.
  • Manage program dependencies and facilitate effective communication across teams.
  • As a program manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating projects across multiple locations, necessitating occasional travel to ensure seamless execution and stakeholder engagement.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, and sales teams to align program objectives with business goals.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and client to ensure program success.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure smooth program execution.
Resource Management
  • Identify and allocate appropriate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support program activities.
  • Manage and monitor resource utilization, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Participate in the interviewing and hiring process, specifically for technicians and IT staff who may be dedicated to the Enterprise Accounts Group
  • Program Quality and Delivery:
  • Establish and enforce program management best practices and standards.
  • Conduct regular program reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that all program deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement effective change management processes to address program scope changes and requirements.
  • Regularly engage with customers to ensure their utmost satisfaction, actively participating in meetings, surveying project progress, and addressing their needs throughout the entire development lifecycle.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring program alignment.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on program progress, milestones, and risks.
  • Address stakeholder concerns promptly, seeking resolutions that maintain client satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in program management, preferably within the physical security or technology industry.
  • Deployment and Maintenance of enterprise systems
  • Knowledge of Government IT system and security requirements
  • Understanding of security technologies, including surveillance systems, access control, intrusion detection, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs from initiation to completion.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Preferred Certification
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) or Certified Security Program Manager (CSPM) certification.
