Unlimited Technology in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the planning, development, and execution of multiple security technology programs. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, and customer support to ensure successful delivery to clients.

This role requires strong financial acumen, risk management, and the ability to coordinate across locations, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program management experience in security/technology.
  • Strong knowledge of security technologies (surveillance, access control, intrusion detection).
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams from initiation to completion.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive program plans with scope, timelines, and resources.

  • Manage budgets, revenue forecasting, invoicing, and collections.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of multiple security technology programs within our organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, sales, Finance and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery of our security solutions to our clients. You will be a key driver in achieving program objectives, ensuring quality, managing risks, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define program objectives and requirements.
  • Monitor and track progress of programs, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Must have a strong financial background and excel at managing budgets, conducting revenue forecasting, and overseeing invoicing and collections processes with precision and expertise.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively addressing issues to maintain program momentum.
  • Manage program dependencies and facilitate effective communication across teams.
  • As a program manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating projects across multiple locations, necessitating occasional travel to ensure seamless execution and stakeholder engagement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, and sales teams to align program objectives with business goals.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and client to ensure program success.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Resource Management:
  • Identify and allocate appropriate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support program activities.
  • Manage and monitor resource utilization, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Program Quality and Delivery:
  • Establish and enforce program management best practices and standards.
  • Conduct regular program reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that all program deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement effective change management processes to address program scope changes and requirements.
  • Regularly engage with customers to ensure their utmost satisfaction, actively participating in meetings, surveying project progress, and addressing their needs throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring program alignment.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on program progress, milestones, and risks.
  • Address stakeholder concerns promptly, seeking resolutions that maintain client satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in program management, preferably within the physical security or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies, including surveillance systems, access control, intrusion detection, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs from initiation to completion.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

Pay Range

$130,000 - $150,000 USD
