Qualifications

  • 6+ years of program or project management experience delivering large, cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication with technical and executive audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders, priorities, and risk across multiple teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid methodologies; proficiency with Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional programs from planning through delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder communication; provide clear updates to technical teams, business leaders, and executives.
  • Define goals, success metrics, and delivery plans with engineering, product, and design leaders.
  • Identify risks and impediments and communicate mitigation strategies.
  • Create roadmaps, status reports, and executive presentations translating technical data into business insights.

our Client isseeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that support the development of innovative scientific data platforms and AI-powered solutions. This role serves as the central point of coordination across engineering, product, design, and executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and successful delivery of strategic programs. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, highly organized, and skilled at translating business objectives into actionable plans that drive results.

Job Title: Program Manager

Location: Columbus, OH-Hybrid

Pay Range: $63/hr on W2

What’s the Job?
  1. Lead Cross-Functional Programs
    • Drive end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale programs, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, resources, and objectives.
  2. Manage Stakeholder Communication
    • Serve as the primary communication hub for program stakeholders, providing clear, timely updates tailored to technical teams, business leaders, and executives.
  3. Drive Alignment and Program Execution
    • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design leaders to define goals, success metrics, priorities, and delivery plans that keep teams focused on shared outcomes.
  4. Identify and Mitigate Risks
    • Proactively surface risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, communicating impacts and recommendations before they affect program delivery.
  5. Deliver Executive Reporting and Strategic Insights
    • Create program roadmaps, status reports, and executive presentations that translate complex technical information into clear business narratives and actionable decisions.
What’s Needed?
  1. Program Management Expertise
    • 6+ years of program or project management experience delivering large, cross-functional technology initiatives in a software or technology environment.
  2. Exceptional Communication Skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage both technical teams and executive leadership.
  1. Stakeholder Management & Influence
    • Proven ability to build trust, manage competing priorities, and influence decisions across multiple teams without direct authority.
  1. Agile & Project Management Tools
    • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid methodologies, along with proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
  2. Analytical & Risk Management Skills
    • Demonstrated ability to use data to drive decisions, monitor program health, identify risks, and communicate progress effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting scientific, research, R&D, AI, or data platform initiatives.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and release management processes.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve program efficiency and reporting.
  • PMP, CSM, or related certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience leading organizational change and technology adoption initiatives.
