This position provides support to the Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Affairs in matters related to faculty affairs, research support, and governance.
The incumbent will be responsible for interacting with faculty to interpret policy & procedure and problem solve; supporting the Dean and Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Affairs in the strategic development and execution of School faculty affairs; managing the TTK appointment, promotion, and tenure process and the PTK appointment, evaluation, and promotion process; coordinating with the Associate Dean and center directors to ensure School and campus faculty procedures are followed; managing the faculty recruitment process; tracking faculty hiring and renewal processes and drafting documents such as letters of intent and contracts; and supporting the Associate Dean, the APT Committee chair, and the AEP Committee chair in implementing strategies to increase diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in faculty affairs.
The program manager will work with the Associate Dean to advance the vision for the School’s research enterprise and growth of the School’s extramural research funding portfolio; support faculty research seminars and showcases; and develop tools, platforms, and systems necessary to support and advance the School’s research ecosystem.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum of five years of administrative staff work, preferably within a higher education setting.
