Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Texas is seeking a F-35 Sustainment Initial Spares Program Manager to direct the full lifecycle of 7–10 contracts, averaging $500M–$700M in annual sales. You will lead a team of 8–10 program managers, with 50% onsite attendance at Beach St.

This position requires at least 50% onsite, in-office attendance each week, predominantly at Beach St. location but also occasionally at the Fort Worth Main Plant. Moderate travel, approximately 10% of time, will be required to customer locations, supplier locations, and the F-35 JPO.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Manage, coach, and guide Initial Spares program team
  • Deliver on Initial Spares portfolio orders, sales, earnings, and cash commitments
  • Serve as primary F-35 JPO customer interface for all initial spares program equities
  • Direct all aspects of programs from initial acquisition and requirements planning through delivery and closeout
  • Lead teams through proposal development, negotiation, and contract award milestones
  • Proactively and effectively partner with key functions to deliver on contract requirements, ensure on-time delivery (OTD), and drive timely resolution to program challenges
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Active secret security clearance
  • Program management experience
  • Experience with Program Performance Management (PPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership role on proposal team
  • Working knowledge of Aerospace & Defense material procurement and supply chain processes
  • Working knowledge of aircraft sustainment business
Desired Skills
  • 5+ years of program management experience leading large programs with significant supplier content
  • 5+ years of working closely with material procurement and / or supply chain processes as program manager, subcontract program manager, buyer, etc.
  • 3+ years of program management experience leading a portfolio of programs
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • 3+ years of working in an aircraft sustainment-related environment, business, and / or program
  • Detailed knowledge of key business processes including long-range plan (LRP) development; orders, sales, EBIT, and cash (OSEC) performance management; and Contract Status Report (CSR) development
  • Experience in key phases of proposal process including scheduling, INAR, ICE, EPP, and negotiations
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $182500.00 - $338900.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
