Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead complex Defense & Aerospace initiatives within a structured program lifecycle framework. You will partner with Sales on proposals, review contracts for scope and risk, and craft Integrated Master Schedules to guide global teams.

Strong ITAR/CUI awareness and robust communication are essential. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, provide executive updates, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while accommodating up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
• 7+ years of progressive engineering and program/project management experience, ideally in Aerospace & Defense or high-tech
• Led complex, multi-disciplinary programs with cost/schedule/performance accountability
• Proficient with program management tools, risk reviews, and integrated scheduling (MS Project)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, including crossing project groups
• Data-driven problem solving skills
• Understanding ITAR and CUI handling and security
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
• U.S. Citizen or eligible under ITAR rules to access ITAR/CUI materials

Requirements

• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-disciplinary programs with full cost/schedule/performance accountability
• Proficiency with program management tools, risk reviews, and integrated scheduling (e.g., MS Project)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, including ability to communicate and foster communication between project groups
• Strong ability to use data and information for problem solving
• Understanding of handling and securing ITAR and CUI information
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
• Must be a US Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident, Asylee, Refugee, or otherwise lawfully admitted under an amnesty program for the ITAR-restricted position
