Job summary

Crew Training International is seeking a contract manager responsible for overseeing DoD/Navy educational design contracts. You will serve as the single point of contact with the COR, assign staff to orders, and manage monthly reports, invoicing, and funding reviews.

You will also help hire personnel and advise on project status and risk areas. The role requires 5 years of project management experience in a government contract context, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, instructional technology, or equivalent desirable.
• 5 years of managing an educational design and development project.
• Two+ years DoD/Navy contract experience preferred.
• Experience with LEAD, derivative classification, and security guides.

Responsibilities

Job description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in business management, instructional technology, or equivalent is desirable.

Training and Experience:

5 years' experience in managing an educational design and development project, with two or more year's professional experience working on a contract for the Navy/DoD or another Department of Defense agency.

The following additional experience is preferred:

• Experience in using Learning Analysis and Design (LEAD).
• Experience in derivative classification and applying Controlled Unclassified Information requirements and portion marking materials using Security Classification Guides.
• Submarine experience.

Security Clearance:

Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Functions as the single point of contact between the contractor and COR.
• Oversees the entire contract assuring that the proper personnel are assigned to the individual task orders.
• Publishes the monthly reports, handles invoicing, reviews Statements of Work and funding issues, hires personnel, and advises the COR on project status and any potential problem areas.
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
