Job summary

RSA Engineered Products LLC in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Program Management Intern to support multiple projects under the guidance of a Program Manager. This on-site role is ideal for a student eager to learn project processes, document procedures, and gain exposure to hardware and software streams.

You will develop professional communication, work with cross-functional teams, and perform tasks assigned by the PM/Lead; the position offers hands-on experience in a real engineering environment

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an accredited, full-time degree program in Engineering, Technology, Business or related technical discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem solver, self-starter, and team player; capable of working independently as needed.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to write test procedures or documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support various ongoing projects at junior program manager level.
  • Learn company processes, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Familiarize with hardware and software aspects; assist PM/Lead with assigned duties.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • PrincipalResponsibilities This position will perform at a junior program manager leveland be capable of supporting various on-going projects. The employee has the capacity to learncompany processes and procedures and become familiar with industry standards. Duties: The person will perform in a professional capacity to learn thebusiness and product lines, whether on the hardware or software side. Allthe work will be assigned by the Program Manager/Lead and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education/Experience: Must be enrolled in an accredited, full-time degree program inEngineering, Technology, Business or related technical discipline.
  • Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and stronginterpersonal skills Must be a goodproblem solver, self-starter, and team player Must be capable ofworking independently as needed.
  • Strong computerskills and technical writing capabilities to write test procedures or otherdocumentation as required
  • Must be familiarwith common software applications – Microsoft word, excel, etc.
  • EssentialPhysical/Mental Abilities Required: Employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time,occasionally required to walk, climb stairs, stoop, use hands to finger(keyboard), talk and hear. The employeewill occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

  • The pay range for this position is from $25.00 to $27.00 (hourly).
