Job description

Nestgen is seeking a Program Management Analyst in acquisition analysis who will support drafting statutory and regulatory acquisition documents, developing contracting office requirements, and supporting program office strategic objectives. Responsibilities include creating single acquisition management plans, purchase requests, and program lifecycle acquisition strategy inputs. The analyst will assist with research and data collection for acquisition and programmatic documents, support contract audits, materials research, and market analysis. Additional duties involve monitoring and tracking contract execution, contributing to weekly reports, supporting program documentation, and recording meeting minutes. The role also includes creating procurement requests/documentation in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DHS directives, reviewing documentation, participating in working groups, and attending reviews. Support the full range of program and project activities, including preparing acquisition milestone documentation and assisting the Program Manager with requirements generation and contracting documentation. Regularly update requirement changes and quarterly status in the Quarterly Management Review using graphs and Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or related fields
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in Federal acquisition and program management
  • Experience with classified acquisitions preferred
  • Knowledge of DHS/DoD Acquisition Process and Systems Engineering Lifecycle desired; experience in AMO and CBP acquisitions a plus
  • Proven skills in presenting analytical results verbally and in writing
