Job Description:
Operational Support:- Maintain software inventory and license records using systems like ServiceNow, Flexera, or similar SAM tools.
- Track software lifecycle from request to retirement, ensuring alignment with organizational policies.
- Assist with onboarding, renewal, and offboarding processes for licensed software.
Software Request And Approval Workflow:
- Coordinate intake, routing, and documentation of software requests.
- Ensure completion of necessary reviews (e.g., security, architecture, EULA/legal).
- Monitor SLAs and follow up with request approvers and reviewers.
Compliance And Governance:
- Support audits and license compliance checks.
- Identify and help remediate unauthorized or unlicensed software in the environment.
- Work with governance teams to enforce policies and flag violations.
Reporting And Analytics:
- Generate reports on software usage, license allocation, compliance status, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide data-driven insights to support renewals, vendor negotiations, and optimization efforts.
Collaboration And Communication:
- Liaise between IT, security, procurement, legal, and end-user departments.
- -Provide support and training to end-users on software request processes and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in software asset management, IT operations, or business analysis.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, Snow), and asset lifecycle processes.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams.
