  • Assist in data collection and analyses for program evaluation.
  • Develop a calendar for after-school and summer programs and budget outlines.
  • Provide training and development for program staff.
  • Collaborate with school committees and advisory bodies on program matters.
  • Arrange travel for staff to attend off-site in-services.
  • Order materials and manage inventory within approved budget.

Job Description

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Education or related field) preferred, Associate of Arts degree or 60 semester hours of college credit required.
  • Two years program development experience in the area of youth and family services preferred.
  • One year experience in working with school aged children preferred.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to work with community service programs and partners.

Duties:

  • Schedule and supervise after school and summer academic and enrichment activities.
  • Coordinate the use of building facilities when participants are on premises.
  • Act as a liaison between classroom teachers and after school staff so that there is a means of communication that will address logistical, student disciplinary, or academic concerns.
  • Implement a tracking system to collect academic records on all students enrolled in the program.
  • Assist in any required data collection and analyses for program evaluation.
  • Develop a calendar for after school and summer programs.
  • Submit program plans and preliminary budget/s for the LKSD grant writer.
  • Offer training and development for program staff.
  • Work with the school’s steering committee, ASB, AOTE or other advising bodies on matters concerning the program.
  • Facilitate travel arrangements for staff to attend off-site in-services.
  • Order materials supplies and inventory for the program as outlines in the approved budget.
  • Other duties as assigned within grant parameters.

Position Type: Part-Time

Salary: $28.23 to $35.18 Per Hour

Job Requirements
  • At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
