Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the teacher or leader, prepare for classroom activities.
• Works with small groups of students to reinforce material introduced by the teacher or leader.
• Assists individual students in need of special attention.
• Sets up and operates equipment.
• Assists teacher or leader with non-instructional classroom duties such as snack and restroom breaks.
• Assists with reading and storytelling; participates in training as scheduled.
• Checks and records student attendance and other record keeping duties.
• Assists with the supervision of students.
• Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
