Job summary

The State of Idaho Tax Commission is seeking a Tax Automated System Specialist in Boise within the Revenue Operations Division. You will lead projects, act as liaison between system users and developers, analyze regulatory impacts, and coordinate testing and documentation. Schedule offers flexibility with hours from 7 a.m.

to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Candidates should have a strong project management background, experience in automated systems, and familiarity with tax laws and policy

Qualifications

• Experience with computerized applications development processes or MIS concepts is required.
• Experience interpreting and applying tax laws, rules, or policies is required.
• Experience testing automated systems to ensure user needs and legal requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Revenue Operations projects and liaise between end users and developers.
• Analyze laws, rules, and policies for system impact and communicate findings.
• Develop requirements, test criteria, and documentation for system changes.
