Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Lead/System Engineer to oversee system requirements, integration, verification, and user acceptance testing for JWICS deployments supporting DISA customers. The role will manage a team of managers across 14 personnel, guiding performance reviews, salary recommendations, and awards.

You will drive data gathering, use-case development, gap analysis, and technical design execution, coordinating with DoD stakeholders to ensure on-time, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Security+ or SecurityX certification or equivalent per DoD 8140.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12–15 years of experience, or Master’s with 10–13 years.
• Experience in architecture, design, development, and delivery in a DoD environment.
• 2+ years of management and supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of project planning experience.
• 2+ years with Linux/RHEL OS systems.
• 2+ years with Windows Server OS systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform supervisory duties for a team of managers overseeing 14 personnel.
• Provide guidance on performance feedbacks, reviews, salary recommendations, and awards.
• Gather requirements, define use cases, conduct gap analysis, and develop design specifications.
• Lead systems engineering activities from planning to sustainment and testing.
• Define processes for technical platforms and hardware/software compatibility.
• Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation and diagrams.
• Identify and manage task dependencies, risks, and mitigations.
• Collaborate to monitor technical variances and resolve issues affecting delivery.
• Report technical status of product development to leads on a regular basis.
• Identify external dependencies and project timelines.
