Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Program Lead/Systems Engineer to oversee JWICS system-level requirements, integration, and testing. The role manages a 10–15 person team and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational readiness.

The candidate should have 10+ years of relevant experience (or 8+ with a Master’s), an active TS/SCI clearance, and DoD environment expertise. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 10+ years' experience, or a Master’s with 8+ years.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Security+ or SecurityX certification (DoD 8140-compliant).
• 10–15 person team supervisory/leadership experience.
• Experience with DoD environments and data-driven operational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a technical team of 10–15 personnel, conduct performance reviews and coaching.
• Gather requirements, perform gap analysis, develop use cases, and create system design documentation.
• Execute systems engineering activities: requirements analysis, integration/testing, and deployment.
• Develop, maintain, and manage system engineering documentation and risk management.
• Communicate status, progress, and risks to leadership on a regular basis.
