Job summary

SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) in Bloomington is seeking a Program Manager for Suicide Loss Support to lead the loss support pillar, connect survivors to resources, and expand access to compassionate, evidence-informed support.

Responsibilities include planning the International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day memorial, overseeing the HelpMeBounce partnership, and supervising a full-time Program Coordinator. Strong collaboration and trauma-informed approaches are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of program management and community engagement experience.
• Experience developing partnerships with community organizations.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel periodically for meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and connection to suicide loss survivors as the primary contact.
• Respond to inquiries with empathy, compassion, and boundaries.
• Build a resource network of local, state, and national supports for survivors.
• Lead the International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day memorial event planning.
• Coordinate the LOSS Teams model information and training resources with communities.
• Oversee the HelpMeBounce partnership and monitor program participants and budget.
• Supervise and develop the Program Coordinator.
• Contribute to organizational strategy, budgets, and performance measures for loss support.
