Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Program Manager for Interdisciplinary Graduate and Professional Education and Learning within the Sustainability Institute. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Demonstrated experience in program management, student advising, recruitment, and engagement, with focus on sustainability initiatives.
• Knowledge of university policies, procedures, and student support services; experience with diverse student populations.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated curiosity and collaboration with stakeholders to achieve goals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the Program Manager for Interdisciplinary Graduate and Professional Education and Learning within the Sustainability Institute.
• Manages graduate and professional sustainability programs with guidance from SI leadership.
• Advises prospective and current students in interdisciplinary sustainability programs including MES.
• Recruits students for MES and other sustainability programs.
• Provides professional development and training opportunities to students interested in sustainable energy careers.
• Collaborates with faculty and Graduate School on admissions, degree requirements, curricula, and job placement pathways.
• Builds partnerships with internal and external stakeholders; creates program resources and materials.
• Reports to the SI Director of Education and Learning and completes special projects as assigned.
