Job summary

Harvard University FAS Human Resources is seeking a Program Manager for the Human Flourishing Program, part of IQSS, with a focus on supporting Christianity & The Common Good initiatives. You will oversee operational activities, develop admin and financial systems, lead communications, and manage events and donor engagement.

The role reports to the Executive Director of the Human Flourishing Program, with duties including staff hiring, academic collaboration, and strategic planning for research

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• 2+ years of project and event management experience preferred.
• Strong communication (oral, written) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with a team effectively across different projects and work streams.
• Ability to work independently, analyze problems, and develop practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day operations; interview, hire, and manage staff; schedule CCG activities and events.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and supervise staff and temporary personnel; provide ongoing coaching; conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee course and seminar creation and delivery; coordinate with faculty on syllabi and schedules; manage logistics.
• Serve as primary administrative liaison for CCG with IQSS Business Operations and Harvard departments; resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain internal tracking systems (contracts, projects, commitments, deliverables) to ensure timely implementation.
