Job summary

Operation Food Search is seeking a Child Nutrition Program Coordinator in St. Louis to coordinate the Operation Backpack and AfterSchool Meals programs.

You will oversee operations, manage partner relationships, and support Summer Meals initiatives while ensuring USDA compliance and program integrity. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2 years of community-based program experience; travel and occasional after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, nutrition, social work, or related field.
• Two years relevant work experience in community-based programs or hunger-relief efforts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Operation Backpack operations during the school year.
• Develop weekly Operation Backpack menus aligned with nutrition standards.
• Coordinate Operation Backpack logistics with schools, partners, and sites.
• Monitor and document program activity and maintain accurate records.
