Job summary

The Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability seeks a Program Manager to lead the Research Practice Hub, coordinating four core program areas and ensuring community-centered research aligns with equity goals. The role reports to the Futures Center Managing Director and involves cross-functional collaboration across university and community partners.

You will develop and implement learning experiences, manage multi-year plans and budgets, and help translate research into actionable community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience.
• Experience with community-engaged partnerships and higher education contexts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and analytical abilities.
• Ability to oversee staff and manage programs and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Research Practice Hub and four core program areas.
• Coordinate program timelines, resources, and stakeholder engagement for community impact.
• Foster partnerships with community organizations, governments, and academic partners.
• Develop participatory research frameworks centering community expertise and data sovereignty.
• Design evaluation frameworks to assess impact and equity in partnerships.
• Mentor staff, partners, and students in CBPR and ethical engagement practices.
• Support place-based experiential learning and cross-disciplinary programming.
• Track outcomes and assist with proposals, grants, and communications.
