Job summary

International Justice Mission (IJM) seeks a Program Innovation Manager to lead technology-enabled program solutions in the Washington, DC area. The role requires translating complex insights into actionable briefs for leadership and field teams and managing rapid prototyping with a focus on scale.

You will design and pilot innovative interventions, collaborate with survivors, governments, and tech partners, and drive adoption of successful solutions across IJM offices worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in development, policy, design or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 6-8 years' experience creating prototypes, product concepts, digital workflows or technology solutions using modern design, low-code or AI tools.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through ambiguous problems and aligning diverse stakeholders without direct line authority.
• Experience across human-centered design, technology, research, strategy, product development, innovation or systems change.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and execution of IJM’s program innovation strategy, integrating emerging technologies and innovation methodologies to future-proof programming.
• Identify opportunities where emerging technologies can improve prevention, reporting, investigations, survivor services, and justice system outcomes.
• Lead rapid research, pilot management and prototype development for technology-enabled solutions.
• Develop low-fidelity and functional prototypes using tools such as Figma, AI-assisted platforms, workflow automation, and no-code tools.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings with global and regional stakeholders to align incubation priorities and ensure timely execution.
