Job summary

International Justice Mission (IJM) is seeking a Global Programs Intern to support measurement and program management for the Global Programs division, with options for hybrid or remote work. The internship runs Jan 11–Apr 9, 2027, requiring 20–40 hours weekly and completion of at least two years of undergraduate study.

The role offers exposure to coordinating events, intranet management, data reports, and cross-functional project work in a mission-driven environment in the Washington, DC area

Qualifications

  • At least one prior professional internship experience or significant leadership experience in extracurricular, campus, volunteer, or community-based organizations.
  • Ability to commit to a schedule of 20, 30, or 40 hours per week during standard business hours.

As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking a Global Programs Intern to join the 2027 Spring Internship class.The Global Programs Intern will support either the Global Programs division, South Asia region, or Asia Pacific region, which provide leadership, direction, and services on measurement and program management to our colleagues and partners to protect people in poverty from violence.The Global Programs Intern will support executive leaders driving the key initiatives of the division and ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Tasks may include:Coordinating and supporting events and training;Intranet site management;Compiling reports and data;Project management;Participating in departmental and general IJM administrative support.This position can be fully in-person or hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. The position requires 20-40 hours per week. As volunteers, interns and fellows receive a monthly stipend to help defray their expenses related to participating in the internship program.
