Job summary

GCIR is seeking a full-time Program and Information Resources Manager based in CA (Sebastopol or Oakland) to design, implement, and evaluate California programs, monitor policy, and prepare information resources for California and national programs.

The role collaborates with communications, development, and knowledge management teams to curate policy analyses, background materials, and web content, while supporting fundraising and membership growth.

Qualifications

• At least 5–8 years of directly relevant programme experience in social justice, policy, philanthropy, or related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to distill large amounts of information into concise summaries.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent listening and communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Solid knowledge of immigration-related policies affecting immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.
• Diplomacy skills and ability to build professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate California programs.
• Monitor immigration policy developments and curate resources for programs.
• Develop information resources including policy analyses, reports, briefs, talking points, and website content.
• Draft, edit, and proofread program materials and summaries.
• Support fundraising, membership, and internal development efforts.
