Job summary

The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) is seeking a full-time California Communications Associate in our San Francisco Office. This role supports media outreach, writing, and video work, with opportunities to collaborate across Know Your Rights and Enforcement teams, including travel within California.

You will work with Central Valley staff and the Communications team to craft messaging, translate content to Spanish when needed, and help manage multiple communications projects in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish; written Spanish a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to present complex data clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead media outreach for Central Valley, Know Your Rights, and California Enforcement teams.
• Provide writing support: press releases, talking points, video scripts; translate as needed (Spanish).
• Create social media videos with the communications team; support the broader digital strategy.
• Collaborate with coalitions and internal departments; attend meetings and assist on events statewide.
