Job summary

The Kentucky Primary Care Association (KPCA) is seeking an Assistant Director of Program Implementation to coordinate statewide workforce strategies and manage multiple projects in a mission-driven environment.

The role supports training, data reporting, and coordination with member organizations, partners, and staff to ensure timely execution of initiatives and grant deliverables. This is an at-will position based in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in project management, program implementation, workforce development, healthcare, public health, nonprofit administration, data coordination, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, business administration, workforce development, education, social sciences, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Experience administering surveys, maintaining datasets, preparing reports, or supporting program evaluation strongly preferred
• Experience supporting grant-funded projects, training initiatives, or multi-organization projects preferred
• Ability to travel within Kentucky and work occasional evenings or extended hours when required by project activities

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Program Implementation with the development and implementation of statewide workforce strategies, including initiatives supported through Rural Health Transformation and other funding sources.
• Support assigned workforce pipeline, recruitment, retention, career pathway, and professional development initiatives through project coordination, member engagement, and follow-up.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, task assignments, milestones, and implementation resources.
• Monitor project progress, address routine implementation needs, and collaborate with the Director on barriers, adjustments, and decisions.
